How To: Honda CRF300L/Rally H2C Tail Tidy This video is the fitting of a H2C Tail Tidy (also known as the H2C Short Rear Fender) to a Honda CRF300 Rally. The parts of the bike involved are identical to the CRF300L, so this video also applies to the L. It's an official Honda accessory and comes from Thailand. It uses the existing number plate light, however, don't be like me and go straight for unbolting the rear assembly. NOTE: REMOVE THE SEAT AND DISCONNECT THE NUMBER PLATE LIGHT BEFORE YOU START! I did this the wrong way round, and though I did consider cutting it together differently, I may as well own my error! I have put a text title at the start of the disassembly to remind any viewers to disconnect the wiring first. You can do it the same way that I did, but knowing what I know now, I'd do it differently next time. 00:00 Introduction 00:24 Closer look at the H2C part 00:57 Old vs New comparison 01:26 Removing the stock unit (should have done this 2nd) 02:34 Removing the rack and seat and disconnecting the light (should have done this 1st) 05:56 Weight comparison 06:22 Assembling the new Tail Tidy 08:38 Refitting 11:54 Conclusion I hope this has been useful, if it has, please like and subscribe!
