It’s 4 AM on a Sunday. While the streets of Tokyo are still dark and silent, my day begins. Usually, Sunday is a day off, but sometimes I have to go to work. It’s hard, but I have a dream that keeps me going: one day, I want to open a small guesthouse to welcome travelers from around the world. To make that dream come true, I wake up early to work on my YouTube videos before heading to the office. Before the chaos of the day starts, I take this quiet time to prepare a traditional Japanese breakfast. Today's menu is Grilled Salmon (Yakizake), fresh rice, and miso soup. Finally, I finish the meal with Ochazuke (rice with tea/dashi), a comforting dish that warms the soul. This is my reality as a Japanese Salaryman, and my small moment of peace.
