Drawing the Archimedean Solids with Sacred Geometry: Advancements in the Language of Light

In this video I discuss the Platonic and Archimedean solids, and show how 16 of those 18 forms can be drawn accurately with a Sacred Geometry template know as the Seed of Life that includes additional circles related to √2 and the phi ratio. I briefly go over how the 5 Platonic solids are constructed out of only 3 polygon configurations (triangle, square, pentagon) and describe how the Archimedean sollids are essentially combinations of those polygons with the addition the hexagon, octagon, and decagon. I also go over the mathematics within the Golden Circle Seed of Life template which produces the 3 sacred roots: √2, √3, √5 and phi ratio throughout diagram. I then show how the platonic solids nest in the digram, and then show drawings of 11 of the 13 Archmedean that fall into the categories of either truncating or exploding. The two solids I was not amble to find a drawing technique for are the Snub Cube and Snub Dodecahedron, which are forms that did not appear to have a symmetry that fit in the Seed of Life pattern as they are forms that both explode and twist while doing so breaking the symmetrical patterns found in the drawing templates. I also show 3-d constructions of each form throughout the presentation, which helps make the connection between the 2-d drawing and 3-d form. As a student of Sacred Geometry I've not seen a reference in the literature that teaches techniques to draw a number of the forms I show here, and much of what is shown makes a significant contribution to deepening a relationship to these forms of creation. I am grateful to have discovered and worked with some Knew patterns which have helped me establish a deeper connection to the Language of Light, and I am thankful I get to share it with you. Enjoy!
