[FE Exam AIT] What are AIT problems on the FE Exam?

Many students have come in to ask the question: What will AIT problems look like on the FE Exam? We understand that with change comes some uncertainty, and that's never comfortable. In a nutshell, on July 1 of this year, the NCEES introduced a completely new testing component to all Computer Based Testing Exams, that being the Fundamental of Engineering Exam (FE Exam) and the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) Exam. This new testing component is referred to as ALTERNATIVE ITEM TYPES...or AITs. AITs are questions other than the traditional multiple-choice questions that we have seen on the FE Exam since the dawn of man.
