Today, we’re studio cookin’ with Judge Tim Lapham! On the menu? Kid favorites—pizza bites and good ol’ Nanna puddin’. So buckle up, because it’s shaping up to be a long show packed with laughs, food, and the usual shenanigans. You’ve been warned… and yes, it’s totally worth it. Creamy Banana Pudding Use a 9x13 pan for your pudding. Filling 2 cups cold milk 1 box (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix We used banana cream pudding and it was amazing! 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk 1 container (8–12 oz) whipped topping, thawed 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Layers 1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers 6 ripe bananas, sliced Optional Toppings Crushed vanilla wafers Whipped cream Caramel drizzle Banana slices (add just before serving) Filling In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract and mix until creamy and well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk the cold milk and instant pudding mix for about 2 minutes, or until thickened. Fold the pudding into the cream cheese mixture until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy. Assemble Lightly grease or spray a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange a single layer of vanilla wafers across the bottom of the dish. Top with an even layer of sliced bananas. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas. Repeat the layers with another layer of wafers, bananas, and the remaining pudding mixture, smoothing the top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably longer, to allow the dessert to set and flavors to blend. Before serving you can garnish your dish with crushed vanilla wafers, whipped cream, caramel drizzle, or fresh banana slices if desired. Pizza Bites Ingredients 1 13.8oz can refrigerated classic pizza dough 1 1lb block of mozzarella cheese cut into cubes 32 Pepperoni slices 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter (for brushing) 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or garlic powder (optional) Marinara or pizza sauce, for dipping Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with a silpat or parchment paper -if you use the parchment you will want to lightly grease it. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 16 equal squares. Place one mozzarella cube and one or two pepperoni slices in the center of each dough square. Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges tightly to seal and form a ball. Place the pizza bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning or garlic powder, if desired. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the bites are puffed, golden brown, and cooked through. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with warmed marinara or pizza sauce for dipping. You can also: Add a pinch of grated Parmesan on top before baking for extra flavor. Swap pepperoni for cooked sausage, ham, or veggies. Try turkey pepperoni for a different taste. 🎥 This episode of Studio Cooking was filmed at the Austin County News Online studio in Sealy and produced by Austin County Media.
