Our Narrowboat Quest - Heartbreak Hill - Negotiating the Cheshire Locks (47) After negotiating Harecastle Tunnel we moor at the lovely Church Lawton overnight. We reluctantly say goodbye the next day and continue our journey North up the remainder of the Cheshire Locks commonly known as Heartbreak Hill. Stopping at Wheelock overnight and using the boating facilities there we continue north up the Trent and Mersey to Middlewich Cheshire where we were in December of last year. We have completed the Four Counties Ring.
