One of the deadliest pandemics to ever hit the world was the Black Death. This hit Britain in the 14th century for the first time, however over the centuries the Bubonic Plague kept coming around the haunt the people of England. In 1665, a particularly devastating outbreak of the plague came around and it ravished London with such severity, to the point that around 100,000 people were killed. This became known as the Great Plague of London.
