This episode is a continuation of my ultimate summer adventure vanlife road trip, and in it I canoe Moose Lake. Moose lake is located in Mount Robson Provincial Park, and it is the only lake on the Fraser River. The Fraser River is 1,375 kilometers long, and flows from here in Mount Robson, to the Straight of Georgia in Vancouver. It's a pretty important river here. It's impressive in size, and also in history. That's what makes this lake interesting. In this video, I talk a little about that history, and more importantly, I admire the scenery. The scenery here is stunning. The valley I'm in is in the rocky mountains, so the mountains that surround you are always beautiful. I canoed the lake from the rest stop/boat launch all the way to the other end and back. The total distance I traveled was just under 25 kilometers. This was an absolutely beautiful lake, and even though I had ideal conditions, it doesn't mean you will. So if you choose to paddle Moose Lake yourself, just make sure you're prepared.
