How to Fix a Heavy Rudder - Hobie 16

My 1979 Hobie 16 has always struggled with a quite heavy rudder especially when at speed, so today we are going to fix that issue, fix the rudder cam, and refinish the rudders. Materials Used: -Sandpaper 120 to 400 grit -Epoxy Resin -Carbon Fiber Strands (milled fibers also work) -Spreader and paintbrush -Marine Grease -Replacement Rudder Cam Screws -Rudder Cams (I 3d printed some I found online in ASA) -Rudder Tension Screws (I made custom screws since none seemed to exist and printed in ASA) Tools Used: -Clamps -Drills (step up to 1/4") -Drill Press -Heat gun -Large and normal screw drivers -3/4"x 10" tap and die 1/2" Sockets or Wrenches (QTY: 2) for rudders Brass Brush to clean tension holes Let me know in the comments what you like or dislike about this episode in the comments.
