This time, as part 2 of "biopsy", we will explain the difference between the two most common tissue biopsies (CNB: core needle biopsy and VAB: suction-assisted biopsy). Cytology is done by taking only cells and looking at the appearance of the cells to determine whether or not there is cancer. This does not tell us whether the tissue (whether it is adenocarcinoma or not) or whether there is invasion (it can only predict). When it comes to cancer, especially when you are about to start treatment for the first time, a "tissue biopsy" is always necessary.
