Showcasing two fatal flaws with the Death by Audio ROOMS reverb guitar pedal

The ROOMS is a pedal that many praise for its exceptional sounding reverb algorithms, however there are also talks about its inherent flaws on forums such as Reddit.   / death_by_audio_roomsincredibly_noisy_or_is_it     / gpd_goodbye_pedal_day_dba_rooms     / death_by_audio_rooms_users_tone_suck_question   Here I do my best to record examples of it's two major drawbacks: 1. High Noise floor - This is inherent to the pedal itself when engaged, even when the Dry gain signal is turned all the way down. 2. High/Mid cut/Tone Suck - While not as noticeable when running a clean signal through the pedal, the tonal change is very present when a high gain pedal such as a fuzz is introduced to the signal Death by Audio has acknowledged these two issues, but have generally given placid responses and suggest it's "normal". There has also been an unofficial acknowledgement by an alleged employee who works on this pedal stating that the circuit has been reworked and these issues have been resolved. There is currently no way to know which version of the pedal you may be purchasing since there hasn't been a "V2" rebranding of any sort.
