Celebrating Foundation Day, Central Bank employees pledge to participate in eye donation campaign Social welfare program dedicated to the foundation day of Central Bank of India Employees Union (NJ) and Central Bank of India Officers Union (Chandigarh Zone) All India Bank Employees Union (AIBEA) Ramesh Super Held at Specialty Eye and Laser Centre, Ludhiana. On this occasion both the unions presented a check of Rs.40,000 to the Punarjot Eye Bank Society. In the beginning of the program, Honorary Secretary of the society, Mr. Subhash Malik informed about the work being done by the society to remove blindness in the society. He said that so far, with the help of Dr. Ramesh, about 5700 patients have been operated for free pupil replacement. Chief guest of the function Com. B. S. Ram Babu, General Secretary, All India Central Bank Employees Association and Secretary, All India Bank Employees Association said that Dr. Ramesh and Punarjot Eye Bank Society are doing great work for the betterment of humanity. On behalf of our organization, we will promote it all over the country. On this occasion the General Secretary of both the unions Shri Rajesh Verma and Shri Gurmeet Singh appreciated the efforts being made by the society and said that their unions would give their full cooperation in this noble cause. In conclusion, Dr. Ramesh thanked the unions for their support. He said that this would give further impetus to our mass movement.
