Hiking Iceland | 3days on The Laugavegur Trail

Hiking The Laugavegur Trail- This 55km long distance multi day hike is located in the southern Icelandic highlands of Iceland between Landmannalaugar and Porsmork. It has such variant of the landscape, Rainbow Mountains, Snowy Glaciers, Volcanic Ash, Deserts, Waterfalls & Rivers. It is undoubtedly the most unearthly & scenic location I have ever seen. Theres no wonder at why it’s listed to be one of the most beautiful trails in the world. We had hiked the trial in July 2023 over 3 days & 2 nights, luckily the weather was on our side as it is known to be brutal at times. The river crossings are an interesting challenge especially carrying a heavy pack but make it all part of the memories. This is definitely one of the best long distant hiking trail we have done. If you are only going to do one backpacking trip whilst visiting Iceland- Then make it the Laugavegur.
