It is an industry standard method that is fully compliant with IATA mandates. EMD types: There are two types of EMD: 1. EMD-S (EMD Standalone), which replaces Automated / Virtual MCO (Miscellaneous Charges Order) 2. EMD-A (EMD Associated), which is linked to an e-ticket and used for ancillary services.
