Next, add the sugar and vanilla, and whisk everything together until smooth and slightly creamy. Then pour in half a cup of oil. Give it a gentle mix, and after that, add the cocoa powder. Stir well until the batter becomes rich and beautifully chocolatey. Now add the milk and mix again until everything is fully combined and silky. Finally, sift in the flour. I’m using self-raising flour. If you’re using plain flour, make sure to add one full tablespoon of baking powder while sifting it into the batter. Mix everything very well until you have a smooth, lump-free batter. 🍫🤎: To make the chocolate sauce, we use milk, oil, and cocoa powder, along with a little sugar. Once the milk comes to a gentle boil and all the ingredients are well combined, add the dark chocolate. The dark chocolate is completely optional.
