Treating Hip and Knee Pain with Massage and Bodywork | Runner's Recovery Session

In this video, I work with a client who’s an avid runner dealing with hip and knee pain. Using a combination of advanced massage and bodywork techniques—including manual muscle testing, targeted stretching, pin and stretch, and muscle resistance techniques—we dive deep into treating her hip and lower back issues. I also incorporate some anatomy lessons to help you understand the body's mechanics better. We start with a TOTE (Test-Operate-Test-Exit) approach to assess her pain and movement limitations. By the end of the session, you’ll see the significant progress she makes, moving from discomfort to pain-free movement. This video is from two years ago, and while my techniques, words and understanding of the body have evolved since then, it still offers valuable insights and lessons that can help anyone dealing with similar issues.
