Professor John B. Saunders has senior appointments at the Universities of Queensland and Sydney and the St John of God and Wesley private hospital groups. His career as a clinician, service director, researcher and academic in the alcohol and drug field extends back over 35 years. Based in Sydney, Australia, Professor John Saunders has extensive connections with the addictions field internationally and regularly visits the United Kingdom, countries within continental Europe, the Nordic countries, the Middle East, the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, China, Thailand and Singapore.
