I'm playing Cave Story 3D in HD! It's a pretty bizarre experience, worth playing once for cave story fans. If you want to play like this, make sure you select OpenGL - otherwise, the text will look horrible. Also, you want to set the rendering resolution to about 5x to get it looking decent like this. Some textures will be pixelated, but there's nothing we can do about that. The game is locked at 30fps, which may take some getting used to. It is a 3DS game, after all. It really throws me off with the difference in physics and jump timings, and it's like learning an entirely new game all over again. Luckily, they added a lot more health upgrades to make the game more forgiving.
