🔥 Swiss German course 🔥 : https://www.swiss-german-online.com/s... ♨️ ☕ Buy me a coffee ♨️ ☕: / @learnswissgerman It might not be easy to speak Swiss German if it is a foreign language for you. It is a hard work. The best advice I can give you is to start the conversation like this: Ich fröie mi di z gseh! (I’m pleased to meet you!) Once you start the conversation you can slowly build it. Here is an example hot to build a conversation in Swiss German: Jo, ich mich au. Hend ir e schöni Wiehnachte gha? Yes, me too. Did you all have a nice Christmas? Jo. Mir hend e schöni Wiehnachte gha. Yes. We had a nice Christmas. Es isch es perfäkts Fäscht gsi: It was a perfect feast: Sehr warm und fridlich. Very warm and peaceful. Hend ir Bsuech gha? Did you have visits? My mother-in-law and her friend Colline came to visit us. D Colline isch e Chrankepflegeri. Colline is a nurse. She was going to be alone over Christmas that’s why we invited her as well, that she won’t be too sad. Mir hend es offnigs Huus. We have an open house. This is nice. We also always have guests, but this year we were “only” our family. Was heisst das “nur” üsi Familie? What does it mean “only” our family? This means my parents-in-law, the brother-in-law, the sister of my husband with her family and his brother with the family. This means we were 19 people in total. Uns süsch? And otherwise? Bisch zwäg? Are you fit? Jo jo, ich ha nur chli Muskelkater. Und du? Yes, I just have some muscle ache. Mir goht s au ganz guet. I’m very well too. Nei, das heisst eigentlich tünd mir mini Fingerchnöchel weh. No, that means actually my finger knuckles hurt. I went climbing with the girls and have hurt some ligaments at the fingers. I really hurt myself just with climbing. Jetz mues-i mini Händ schone und cha nid go Holzhacke. Now I have to spare my hands and I can’t go hacking wood. I am obviously too heavy and totally untrained to climb. It’s not easy to hold 80kg with the fingers. And Christmas and all the food haven’t helped eighter. Sicher? Was het s Guets gäh? Really? What good things did you have? Mir hend Roast-Beef Brote gha. We had roast beef. This is beef mead with patatoes and vegetables and a lot of cake for the desert. Mmh. das tönt köschtlich! Mmh, that sounds delicious! Jo, du seisch es! Yes, you say it! #learnswissgerman #schweizerdeutschlernen #suisseallemand
