After 3 weeks of summer holiday for my family, we wrapped it up with a day trip in a cozy family park or amusement park not very far from Amsterdam. This park is called Speelpark Oud Valkeveen, which is located in Naarden. The kids had fun and us too and that's what matters. Oud Valkeveen is a play park in Naarden in the Dutch municipality of Gooise Meren in the province of North Holland . The park is located in the hamlet of Valkeveen , which is located at the extreme northern point of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug . The estate on which Oud Valkeveen is located was formerly known as 'Oud Naarden' and was owned by a wealthy Amsterdammer who bought it and had a farm built there, which was given the name Valkeveen . After 1880 a steam tram connection was established between Amsterdam and the Gooi . Many people took a trip to the estate by tram as there was a beautiful beach on the Zuiderzee . The owners of the farm on the estate started a pancake farm in the farm to provide visitors with a drink and a drink . In 1930 , a playground was built next to the pancake house . Activities were also organized and horse races were held. In 1980, the well-known circus director Toni Boltini settled in Naarden as the owner / operator of the park. Since 2002, the playground has been owned by Michael van de Kuit's Nedstede Group.
