boston solo weekend trip | day 1 | video journal

just wanted to go to boston for a weekend! reflection: last year, i had a layover in boston on my way back from vancouver, but an initially short layover quickly became a 5-hour layover. it was only 8am, and i have never left the airport during a layover, but i decided to challenge myself and get a quick city visit since it seemed like a fun adventure. it took some time to reach the city from the airport so i only had about an hour to walk around boston, but it was worth it and memorable. that quick tour of boston even inspired me to go back this time! when i went back to boston this time, it felt like history was repeating itself. i had an early morning arrival so i decided to relax in the airport. i went to the gate i stayed last year, and it was just as empty! i guess that will be my go to quiet spot if i need one in boston... when i left the airport for the city, i was retracing my steps, finding the blue line before catching an inbound train. i had a lot more time for this trip so i took a different route and tried to see some different things. this was my 3rd time visiting boston, but there was still a lot i haven't seen from my 1st and 2nd times. anyways, it's good to be solo-traveling again... it's one of the things i miss from studying abroad... and boston feels just like copenhagen almost...
