Christkindlmarket is a German Christmas Market that unites cherished German & European tradition with international flair & local charm. Inspired by the 16th century Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg Germany, one of the first outdoor markets of its kind, the Christkidnlmarket is well-known for its vendors high quality gifts & food, holiday cheer & the ideal place for families to create unique shopping experience & memories. This year (2021) is their 25th Annual Christkindlmarket event. There are two Christkindlmarkets in Illinois - Wrigleyville & the Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago. This was taken at the Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago on 50 W. Washington St. This video was filmed on Friday, November 26, 2021 around 4:30 pm. This place was packed when we came & the line was very long but it didn't take us long to get in so if you want to beat the crowd try coming here early during the day. They open at 11 am - 8 pm Sundays - Thursdays & 11 am - 10 pm Fridays - Saturdays. This is a free event so all you have to do is find parking nearby. Hope you like this video.
