The church in Miasino (Italy) is one of the largest and richest Baroque churches in the diocese of Novara. The church was built in 1627 by Milan's most famous Baroque architect. On the right side of the church stands the massive bell tower, which has six bells from various eras at the top, testifying to the church's long history. In 1867, the bell foundry made three bells, integrating the two historical bells from the 18th century to form a concert of five. In 2004, a sixth bell was added to complete the concert in F major. f' - g' - a' - b' flat - c'' - d'' I bell added in 2004 II original bell from 1703 III bell recast in 1974 IV original bell from 1768 V concert bell from 1867 VI bell recast in 1950 The video begins with some Christmas melodies and carols, followed by the traditional bell concert, which consists of bringing the bells up and then bringing them down one at a time at regular intervals, controlling the timing by means of a computer operated by a bell ringer. The Romanesque church was demolished in the mid-16th century to make way for the new building dedicated to Saint Roch of Montpellier, a saint much venerated against the plague. The new church was built in 1566, the year it gained its autonomy. In 1627, architect Richini designed the reconstruction of the entire building, which became a model of Baroque art in the entire Lake Orta area and the Verbania mountains. During the 17th century, the wooden stalls of the monumental choir and the precious Baroque baptistery were placed, which almost seem to disappear in front of the magnificence of the splendid altar in polychrome marble and chiselled bronze. The building is considered a national monument because it houses hundreds of well-preserved ancient sacred vestments and dozens of paintings by famous artists.
