The Battle of Los Angeles. One of the biggest and most known tournaments across all of independent wrestling, housed in the infamous Reseda-based Pro Wrestling Guerrilla promotion. It was an annual one night tournament held near the end of the year with the winner traditionally gaining an opportunity at the promotion’s top prize: the PWG world championship. This has been the case for every single tournament, with the lone exception being in 2009, when the title itself would be put up for grabs in that year’s tournament final; and that is what we will be discussing in today’s video.
