What if the career that made the most sense on paper… turned out to be completely misaligned with who you are? That’s what happened to me. I followed the “right” path—took the aptitude test, scored high in logic and math, and became an engineer. It looked perfect on paper. But the job itself? It drained me. Trapped me behind a desk. Left me feeling disconnected and invisible. And it didn’t take into account what I needed to thrive: Movement. Creativity. Purpose. Because I’m autistic—and I didn’t even know it at the time. I almost chose photography instead. But no one ever told me that could be a real career. No one said fulfillment mattered more than what looked “safe.” If you’re neurodivergent—or raising someone who is—this is your reminder: You don’t have to settle for a life that looks good on the outside but feels empty on the inside. You can build work that fits how your brain works. That’s what I’m doing now. And I’m here to help others do the same. 👍 Like this video 🔔 Subscribe for more stories and tips on building a work life that actually fits.
