I've always regarded the OM-28 as a great "middle ground" between a D-28 and a 000-28; you get the smaller, more comfortable body of a 000 but you get that long scale length which helps the guitar to project a little better and push out some more volume, like a dread. For some reason Martin discontinued the OM-18, I owned one at one point and liked it for similar reasons - and wish I still had it. Oh well.
