Single Mum saving money on groceries with a budget

Welcome to another budget-friendly grocery haul! If you want to jump to a certain point in the video here are the times you need 0:00 - Intro 0:51 - Home Bargains 2:31 - Aldi 6:13 - Save on groceries 8:03 - Meal plan I have decided not to go to Asda every week for my shopping now and only go every other week which is the weekend I have my son as I always do a top up shop of bread and fruit on the Monday which means it is an extra shop instead I will just go in on the Monday to save myself some extra money. Therefore my shopping this week was only Home Bargains and Aldi and I spent just over £40 however I have estimated how much I will spend in Asda on Monday which brings my total to just under £45. How I am shopping to save money is to shop my home first and this is what I have done this week with my food cupboards and freezer and I think for the rest of January I have enough food to get us through the month without having to do more shopping, but let me know what you think? Here’s the breakdown of my shop this week: Home Bargains: £8.83 Aldi - £31.95 Rough estimate for Asda - £5.63 Total: £46.41 This haul is for myself and my son, and we manage to eat about 95% of what we buy each week, with very little food waste!
