TRIBUTE POEM (This is what i read) Asifa was an 8 year old Kashmiri girl… who was raped… by Hindu men She will not be known as Asifa the President She will not be known as Asifa the Singer She will not be known as Asifa the Engineer She will be know as the Muslim girl who was raped by Hindu men She will not be a Wife She will not be a Mother She will never again be tortured or raped or alive She will be the Muslim girl who was raped by Hindu men The 8 men sheltered and protected by a blanket called Hinduism The 8 men are not Hindus...but impersonators And those who make the blanket are not Hindus...but impersonators The 8 men to be punished… not as Hindus but as men…. men of India…. men of the world… Men who raped a little girl Men who murdered a little girl The leader The officers And The juvenile The old The worker And the youth They make the 8 rapers The fate of India has never been darker never been scarier Today I say As a not as a Hindu but as a human As a not as a Hindu but as a girl As a not as a Hindu but as a possible mother As a not as a Hindu but as I hold my future daughter Kill the degenerates Kill the degenerates Who rape in the name of religion Who rape in the place of worship Kill the degenerates And or give them a taste of their own medicine… Call me a hypocrite I don't care Make them feel A rape victim’s despair Make them cry And watch humanity smile My dear...Asifa I don't know where you are But I promise you...
