The Afflicted don't have good healers, just mediocre prot monks and hybrid necromancers, so you don't need to crush through great defense. On the other hand the Afflicted got crushing builds and synergies, so your team will quickly wipe if you are unprepared. Therefore, bring two backline heroes and one damage hero for maximum stability and a reliable way to beat this quest. If you don't need external energy support yourself, you can go for an extremely stable E/Mo prot + ritualist communing prot backline.
