Dead Messenger just received a 200% weapon damage increase, and when paired with the newly buffed Mask of Bakris, you unlock a loop of nonstop dodges, massive weapon damage bonuses, and insane survivability that dominates even -40 Power Grandmasters. Here’s why it’s busted: Mask of Bakris now grants a dodge every 2 kills (with around 70 Mobility to keep the loop flowing). Every dodge creates a Strand clone, filling the map with distractions and giving huge survivability. Each dodge also gives a stack of Feast of Light (up to ×3), boosting Arc & Stasis weapon damage by 10% per stack. Add in Dead Messenger’s Fundamentals perk (+30% weapon damage while Amplified from an Arc Super), Radiant (+20%), and Weapon Surge mods, and you’ve got a setup that can nearly one-shot Champions at contest-level power. To make it even tankier, Dead Messenger also grants an Overshield when breaking enemy Overshields, stacking survivability with your Strand clones and dodge loops.
