Due to the rupture I was incorrect in assuming the book shown in the video was wrong. It is correct, you do cut on the LEFT flank in a C-Section. My doe's rupture made her organs shift, and that's why I could not find her baby. This was a very very sad situation and I hope none of you watching ever have to make choices like this for your animals. If you do find yourself in a situation like this, however... I hope by sharing in my experience you are able to learn something and feel more prepared.
