hello friends! I'm back with my second NazFlix ever, a screening series I started where I share a film with my personally curated audience, and then curate a conversation with someone from the film afterwards. For this interview I got to sit-down with powerhouse Taron Egerton about his role as Nate. This was all made possible thanks to ‪@LionsgateMovies‬ so thank you Lionsgate! I screened She Rides Shotgun - a film directed by Nick Rowland and starring Taron Egerton + Ana Sophia Heger. I was blown away by Ana Sophia Heger's performance she is a star in the making and carries the film - and she was 10 years old when they made it! The film is based on a famous novel that came out in 2017 written by Jordan Harper. I've been a massive fan of Taron Egerton ever since he played Elton John in Rocketman. No one has the ability to be so tender and yet threatening in the same breath. He is so gritty and grounded as Nate in SRS and he even shared this is the most important film he's ever made. She Rides Shotgun is being released by Lionsgate in select theaters starting THIS FRIDAY August 1st - don't miss it!
