This video is the first of four on a trip I did in early September 2025 with the eXplore Botswana Overlanders boys. The trip covered some of and in most people's opinions the best Safari destinations in Africa (Savuti, Khwai and Moremi) Like most travellers through Botswana, our plan was to bypass Mababe (big mistake) on our way to Savuti on day 1. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we left Maun very late and had to spend our first night in Mababe. This afforded us an opportunity to explore Mababe Depression area and all I can say is we are going back soon (so should you).
