The first of two home movie reels of kids learning to ski at Cranmore, NH. This was shot around 1957 (based on the date codes on the film) on 16mm Kodachrome film. There's footage of the Skimobile track-based lift, as well as adults and kids skiing, kids taking a group lesson. There's also some footage of people loading and riding up on the poma lift. Kodachrome, as usual, does not disappoint! Subscribe to our channel for more vintage ski footage. This found footage was scanned at 2k on the Lasergraphics ScanStation at Gamma Ray Digital in Boston.
