AllTrails: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/rec... I used micro-spikes for the entire hike and didn't have any issues. Always check the conditions before you go and be prepared for any weather. There were spots on this trail where it was super windy, and other spots where it was calm. In the summer this trail is used quite a bit by cyclists as well. Directions to the trailhead can be found by checking the AllTrails link above. Basically it's at the end of Quilicy Ranch Road out of Verdi (along the railroad tracks.) The last bit of the road to the trailhead is dirt bit should be passable in almost any vehicle if it's there's no snow and it's dry. Enjoy!
