Made with premium, 100% genuine cowhide leather and handcrafted in Ohio’s beloved Amish Country, this double-sided paddle strop is designed to accomplish the entire sharpening process with ease, deliver flawless results, and reduce the need for frequent resharpening—no matter if you’re an expert with a strop or just starting out. Use the tougher, suede leather side in conjunction with a honing compound for the bulk of your sharpening. Simply apply the compound like a crayon then run your tool across the leather—you’ll have a perfectly honed edge in no time. On the reverse side, you have an extra-smooth leather surface for the final polish. With a 14-5/8” long and 4” wide surface area on each side, this strop will accept a longer paring chisel blades just as easily as it would a shorter butt chisel blade.
