I absolutely love the wicker doll prams you see on every influencers Instagram but I wasn't so keen when I saw the pricetag of them! I thought there must be a way how I can upcycle one...and there is! I bought my basket at Homesense, used four hard plastic 10cm wide lids as wheels, 15mm copper piping as the push bar and pieces of scrap wood for the wheel frame. The bar got wrapped with some bias binding to cute things up even more but you can skip this step for a more modern look. Like I said in the video for a more robust pram use wheels specifically made for kids toys, they are rubber and more sturdy then my recycled lids. You need: Basket One meter of 15 mm copper pipe Two 15mm elbow pieces Four strong plastic lids 10cm wide Square timber (2x2 or 4x4) Bolts, nuts and washers (mine are 5mm) Screws with a smooth top Drill Bias binding Super glue My new book Pallet wood projects for outdoor spaces is out now!! You can order your copy on Amazon or order it at your local bookstore (worldwide release in April) Have a look at my books Made with Salvaged Wood, Making Concrete pots, bowls and platter, Furniture Hacks and Crafting with Mason jars are all published by Cico Books (Ryland Peter& Smalls) and available worldwide.
