Cookies That Melt In Your Mouth - Pecan Sandies - Prefect For Afternoon Tea

I remember my Mom making these cookies a lot when I was young. Sadly I don't remember eaten them thou. I think she took them to parties and such. It was easy to make because my grandma from Alabama would sent us pecan every year from her pecan trees. So we had lots of pecan in our house. Enjoy, Michael P.S. Don't forget to hit like and subscribe. Chop 1 cup pecans. Cream 1 cup butter with 1/3 cup sugar. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and 2 teaspoons water. Once blended add pecans and 2 cups flour. Mix until well combined. Chill the dough for 4 hours. Preheat oven to 325°. Scoop dough onto a cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Once out of the oven and just cool enough to handle roll in powder sugar. Let cool completely and serve.
