Patient's name is Ms.Juli Thin & I am Ms.Thet Sandi Kyawt Shin. We came to AIG HOSPITALS from Mandalay Region, Naung-Oo District for removal of pancreatic stones with endoscope. Patient was suffering from vomiting since May. We went to the Pakokku General Hospital first. The doctor transferred the patient to Mandalay to consult with Professor Dr.Than Htun Oo. Professor said "in order to remove the stones with endoscope, currently no service available for the children in Myanmar." Surgery was not also suitable for her. So he suggested to take treatment at AIG HOSPITALS, Hyderabad, India. That hospital has High-tech medical services. Under his guidance, we came to AIG HOSPITALS. We took flight on 3rd October night. We were picked up by the AIG HOSPITALS' service team at the airport. We arrived at AIG HOSPITALS on 4th October morning. Imaging was done to calculate the stone size. After this, Dr. Sundeep did ERCP. Dr. Sundeep also said "If the stone is small enough to remove, he will remove immediately during ERCP." He also calculate the estimated cost according to the stone size before operation. After calculation, ERCP was done & small stone was taken out immediately. Operation only takes about 15 to 30 minutes. After operation, the patient was kept under observation for 6 hours and discharged from hospital. The disease was cured with little expense. In next day appointment, the doctor told us that we can return home.
