recipe in the description 👇 ===================================== Salted Caramel Butter Bars Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup caramel sauce (such as dulce de leche or caramel ice cream topping) Flaky sea salt (optional) Instructions: Preheat and prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Make the crust: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add the softened butter and mix until the mixture forms a crumbly dough. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake the crust: Bake the crust for 20-25 minutes, or until it's lightly golden brown. Melt the chocolate: In a small bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval, until smooth. Drizzle with caramel: Drizzle the caramel sauce over the baked crust. Top with chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel sauce. Add a sprinkle of salt: If using, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the top of the chocolate. Chill and cut: Refrigerate the bars for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
