Hi guys, This morning I had absolutely no idea what I was going to make. The only things on my desk were my ruler, knife, glue, scissors… and a stack of big botanical book pages I rescued last night from books that simply didn’t fit on my shelves anymore. So naturally, that turned into this. What started as “let’s just make a few easy hinge pockets” quietly evolved into a flip-out folio of my dreams. You know how that goes. One pocket becomes two. Two becomes a layered botanical situation. And suddenly you’re emotionally attached. In this video I’m using large vintage-style botanical pages and keeping the construction surprisingly simple — ruler, knife, glue, scissors — that’s it. No complicated engineering. Just clever folds, hinges and satisfying flip-outs. If you love big book pages, botanical illustrations and projects that look far more complicated than they actually are, this one is for you.
