On April 4, 2021, the Fort Myers Police Department received a call regarding a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the road. When officers arrived at the scene, they encountered a race track employee who informed them that the driver in question was parked in the middle of the road and unresponsive. The officers proceeded to make contact with the driver, who claimed to be a firefighter and stated that she does not consume alcohol. In a video captured at the scene, an officer conducted a field sobriety test to assess whether the individual was fit to operate her vehicle.
