CERC Called 强硬改革神学, Hardline Reformed, Cult & Many Other Things

嗨大家好，我是凯盛。我在CERC已经聚会一段很长的时间，在教会里也担任一些领袖的角色，目前正在预备明年去Moore College读神学。今天我想对一些在网上针对教会的指控作出回应。 近期有人在网上视频指出CERC宣称只有CERC的教义是对的。也就是说只有CERC是正确的，而其他教会是错误的。我相信很多人对CERC有这样子的看法是因为我们作为马来西亚的基督徒特别重视的就是和谐。而一般人对和谐的理解就是好像来临华人新年，虽然其实背后闹得很不愉快并互相攻击，可是在公公婆婆面前就是要以和为贵：“大家吃饭啦”/“不要吵啦”/ “对和错不是最重要的啦”。在骨子里我们的团结观就是 “哎呀大家都和谐共处吧”。所以，当有人说某件事物是错误的，比如说如果我们指出某人对经文的解读错误，或者某个教义是错误的，人们就会变得非常敏感、感到个人被冒犯。 CERC 并不声称我们做的一切都是正确的。CERC 从未声称自己是唯一正确的教会。有许多来自 CERC 的成员目前也因工作或出国深造等原因在世界各地不同的教会中聚会。当生活处境改变时，我们也曾鼓励一些会友委身于其他教会。我们一直鼓励一些会友致力于事奉和爱他们所处在的教会，无论是在事工、财务奉献或是教导方面。当然这也包括纠正彼此的机会，因为这是出于圣经的教导。在 CERC，我们经常花时间根据神的话语来纠正自己、批评自己。因为这是根据神在《提摩太后书3章16-17节》教导我们说：圣经都是神所默示的，於教训、督责、使人归正、教导人学义都是有益的，叫属神的人得以完全，预备行各样的善事。这就是神对我们的爱。他不会让我们停留在原来的样子，而是改变我们，使我们更像我们的天父。因此，CERC 鼓励信徒始终以爱心去关心和建立他人，无论我们身处何地：无论是在大学基督徒团契，还是在你所服侍的其他教会，对那些作为我们弟兄姐妹的基督徒，我们以神希望的方式去爱他们。 事实上，华勇会督在他所写《比加尔文更加尔文主义？》的书 当中引用了一名委身于改革宗传统的神学家 JI Packer所讲的一些话。而JI Packer 的写作之一包括他在反对阿民念主义方面持有非常坚定的圣经立场，在神学上维护神的荣耀和福音信息。对于那些想了解更多的人，我强烈鼓励你们阅读这篇文章：https://www.tgcchinese.org/review/j-i... Hello everyone. I'm Kae Sheng. I’ve been attending CERC for a long time and serve in some leadership roles in the church. I am currently preparing to go to Moore College to study theology next year. Today I would like to respond to some of the accusations that have been directed at this church. Recently, an online video claimed that CERC asserts only its teachings are correct. In other words, only CERC is right, while other churches are wrong. I believe many people have this view of CERC because, as Malaysian Christians, we particularly value harmony. And the general understanding of harmony is like during Chinese New Year, where even though there might be unpleasant conflicts and attacks behind the scenes, in front of our grandparents, we must prioritize peace: "Let's eat together", "Stop arguing la", or "Right and wrong aren’t that important la". Deep down, our view of unity is like this: let's all live together in harmony. And so when someone says this is wrong, this reading of the text is wrong, this doctrine is wrong, people get very sensitive and personally offended. CERC does NOT assert that we get everything right. CERC has never claimed to be the only correct church. Many members of CERC are currently attending different churches in Malaysia and in the world due to work or further studies. We have always encouraged some of our members to commit to serving and loving the church they are in, whether in ministry, financial giving, or teaching. Of course, this also includes opportunities for correction of one another, as this is based on the teachings of the Bible. In CERC, we often spend time correcting ourselves, criticizing ourselves according to God's word. This is in accordance with what God teaches us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." This is how God loves us. He doesn’t leave us the way we are. He changes us to be more like our Heavenly Father. Therefore, CERC encourages believers to always care for and build up others with love, wherever we are, be it the university Christian Fellowship, be it another church you are serving in, fellow Christians who are brothers and sisters to us, we love them the way God wants to love His children. In fact, Bishop Hwa Yung, in his book "More Calvinistic than Calvin?", quoted some words from J.I. Packer, a theologian committed to the Reformed tradition. One of J.I. Packer's writings includes his strong biblical stance against Arminianism, where he upholds God's glory and the message of the gospel theologically.
