740bhp Rusty Bullet Astra GTE v 680bhp Nissan R35 GTR - 1/4 Mile

Carl Hartley in his ADE Tuning tuned Vauxhall Astra GTE lined up against Steve MacMaster in his GTR Performance UK tuned Nissan R35 GTR at Santa Pod Raceway. The Astra is pushing out 740bhp and is FWD, and the GTR is pushing out 680bhp and is AWD. It looked like a FAST and FURIOUS drag race, only not for Pink Slips!! Carl crossed the line first with a 10.42 @ 146mph, with Steve not far behind with a 11.20 @ 125mph. I somehow think Steve will be back again soon, and maybe with some slicks. Both cars have ran quicker. The Astra has done a 10.1 and the GTR has done a 10.8.
