Build a Great Saison! - Recipe Background and Evaluation

An evaluation of the Saison I brewed during my "5-Gallon BIAB - Brew Day Walkthrough" video. I share some of my thoughts on "Brewing Great Beer", then discuss my progress in building my Saison. I finish by tasting and scoring my Saison. This beer was entered into the Dominion Cup competition, so I will compare my scores with the competition results. Note that the cover image for this video is from a side-by-side trial of my first 3 Saison batches. My big takeaways from that were that 1) the Omega Saisonstein yeast flavors are very close to the Dupont strain and 2) I liked the character from Citra in a Saison more than I expected. These three were Saisonstein/Hersbrucker, Saisonstein/Citra and Dupont/Hersbrucker. My next iteration, covered in the video was Dupont/Citra.
