We finally made it to the border after an epic thru-hike of the PCT. Sorry for lack of video between Harts Pass & the Border as it rained nearly the whole time and the camera was packed away! What an amazing journey the PCT is. The change in environment and scenery along its entirety is nothing short of spectacular. If I was to pick a long hike (over 1000 miles) then this would still be the outstanding winner by far! But I'd never say never as there are a lot of hikes still to do! Washington section L starts at mile 2591.1/ Highway 20 (Rainy Pass) and finishes at Monument 78 (Canadian Border) taking 70.3 miles to complete (PCT mile 2591.1 to mile 2662.6). You then either can hike 8 miles to Manning Park (in Canada / permit required) or hike back to Harts Pass and hitch out!
