It’s been nearly ten years since Iran signed an agreement to limit its nuclear program in return for sanctions relief and other provisions. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action took effect in January 2016. Two and a half years later, then-President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the deal. Fast forward to today and President Trump’s second term in office.
