From June 2–5, students from Long Plain, Kinonjeoshtegon, and Fisher River gathered for four unforgettable days of cultural learning, teamwork, and fun! Guided by Elders and land-based practitioners, youth experienced: Traditional protocols for harvesting wildlife The importance of animals, water, and trees in daily life Survival skills, storytelling, and ancestral teachings This event was more than games—it was about reconnecting with culture, respecting the land, and honoring the resilience of our ancestors.
