In prep for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, I asked an old friend to help! In fact, he's 65 million years old! While I've only watched this movie a few times, the soundtrack and the visuals have stuck with me for years. When my friend BlueStarMako (artist extraordinaire behind The Wild, JiggyRock, etc) let me borrow a T-Rex Suit, I knew we were going to be making a video of the theme song! While the music was pretty quick and plain to make (with a kitchen injury on my finger), the video was probably the most physically demanding yet! Inflatable suit in 90 Degree weather = Burned Ro, but hey I think it came out pretty well! Playing guitar with my arms hunched was the hardest part too! Again I could not film this one alone, so huge thanks to Mako for filming and giving a lot of ideas to the intro bit! I think while I'm hesitant about the new Jurassic World movies, the magic of seeing dinosaurs duke it out is still super powerful! And hey, one more famous movie score to cross off the list! I know a lot of you might be wondering why I'm making odder covers, but I think costumes, outdoors, and experimenting is far better than just repeating the same formula every week.
