Our 1st Goat Auction! What the heck did he buy!?! Oklahoma Local Livestock Auction We went to our first Livestock Auction! It was in Collinsville, Oklahoma. It was so interesting and exciting! At first we went inside to get our auction card with a number on it to bid. We were pretty early as they still had farmers dropping off animals to auction off. IT was so cool, as you exit the auction room you walk onto a catwalk above all the animals. The boys and I loved to see everything from above. The first items on the agenda were the bottle baby goats. They had them run out or be held by the farm hands as they were bided on. It was so sweet seeing the little babies go to their new homes, falling asleep on the new owners laps during the rest of the auction. Parker eyed a little Lamancha the second we were on the catwalk. He was determined to have her or him, no matter what it was and what it cost.
